Approved Sewer, S/V Betsy goes to Cape Lookout

We have great news!! Thursday evening the Bay River Metropolitan Sewer District voted unanimously to approve our sewer application!!! At the corporate office, celebrations continued into the night. But at 6:30 am it was time to head back to Port Vandemere, we have three crews to get started on various projects. Photos to follow..Also, we want to welcome a total of three new families to the Port Vandemere community this week!The weather is perfect, so the Port Vandemere crew has voted to take the weekend and sail to Cape Lookout Bite. Just a few hours sail from Vandemere Creek, Cape Lookout is renowned as one of the most beautiful anchorages in the East Coast.
