The road building crews are hard at work. On Friday late afternoon when I went by it was raining but I could see they’ve doe a lot. Above top: the entrance takes shape. Middle: the first bend in the road shows its final size an the new ditches. Soil sits ready to be used once it dries out. Bottom: Sailor our black lab, thinks about playing in the mud, I made sure he decided against it.

Rain, Rain, Rain…We are lucky to have it so a few days of cabin fever isn’t so bad.  We’ve had  a lot going on at the property or now  the ‘job site’ this week. The grading equipment arrived Tuesday and there have been a steady stream of gravel trucks coming into port Vandemere. As usual, the weather isn’t cooperating so as of yesterday evening we have a muddy but roughed in road with ditches extending at least to the first big curve, which is as far as I could see. So if you’ve planning on visiting in the new week or so, bring your boots!
The PV sales team has been very busy since the boat show. We have another new member to PVYC, welcome to Robert Krasowski! And I hear we had another contract come in this morning. I better put on my fowlies and head to the office to see who our newest neighbor is!
