Permits, Oriental Cup Regatta

Official Business: Today’s Theme Progress comes with new tasks, like running around with paperwork all over the eastern half of North Carolina. But hey, we’re official now! Project # (oops SW7070624) NC department of Environment and National Resources. Come August 1st. Port Vandemere will be abuzz with dozers, trenchers, and massive earth movers.Thomas had to run another document down south to renew the first CAMA permit we received for the Marina. So much for conserving fuel today!
This is a big weekend in town, its the Oriental Cup Regatta. Port Vandemere is happy to be helping sponsor the event and participating in the race. The race helps support the local Bill Harris Memorial Scholarship fund, sending a Pamlico County student to college every year. Its a good cause, and a lot of fun. Keep your fingers crossed for team Port Vandemere!
