As promised, I took a walk around the property yesterday around 5:30pm. Everyone had gone home by then so it was a quiet walk. The roadway has progressed I’d say 100 yards in the last two weeks. Plus most of the grading is done to the end but awaits sand and gravel. By the first of April I suspect we’ll have pretty much finished the graveling.
Shell Castle Lane is about half way finished. To the right you can see a finished Royal Shoal Lane where the equiptment sits.
Standing where the dozers are resting for the evening, looking South West towards the entrance the property is starting to really take shape now.
Looking North West, the dozers have stopped in front of lot 30 and are beginning to work on the new road bed.
The new road bed just East of the old road has a nice curve as it rounds lot 27, 28, and 29 to the left are lots 18-22. Because of all the organic soils the road has to be cut and infilled with sand.
