We decided to create an offshoot to Port Vandemere and create a company just specializing in the sale and re-sale of boat slips. Alot of the folks we meet at boat show have a more immediate need for a slip or are interested in renting temporary space while they are cruising. That gave us the idea, so hopefully we can be a resource to cruisers and match slip buyers and sellers.
Now that this site is humming along we’ve started on revamping PortVandemere.com. So check back soon and see our progress. Feedback is always appreciated.

Sill the non-lot-owners who rent or buy boat slips pay any kind of association dues? I thought our HOA dues were going to be used to maintain the development, including the recreation facilities and the marina, but it looks as though somebody could buy or rent a boat slip and enjoy all the facilities that the residents are paying for…Also, are there boat slips set aside for the lot owners, meaning, with some 23 or so lots left to sell, is it possible that the boat slips could sell out before the last lots are sold - leaving those owners with no boat slip?
